Moldova’s Defense Ministry Declares Exercise Near Transnistria
Moldova’s Defense Ministry has declared it began a military exercise at the Bulboaca military proving ground near the border with self-proclaimed Transnistria on May 3. Its press-service said that cadets from a military academy would be practicing firing skills till June 4, TASS reports.
"The training is to be held in accordance with the 2022-2023 schedule and is in no way related with the security situation in the region," the academy’s chief, Colonel Anatoly Bucuch, said.
