Pashinyan Chairs Security Council Meeting in an Expanded Format
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired an expanded Security Council meeting.
In addition to the Security Council members, the President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan, President of the national Assembly Alen Simonyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Vice President of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan, "Civil Contract" parliamentary faction leader Hayk Konjoryan also participated in the session.
The situation created as a result of Azerbaijan's aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the steps to be implemented in the direction of the protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia were discussed. The participants exchanged thoughts about the current state of the Nagorno Karabakh settlement negotiation process.
The imperative of national solidarity and consolidation in the context of confronting external threats was emphasized.
