Russian specialists are training the cynologists of MES RA (PHOTO)
From October 10 to November 5, the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center carries out trainings on “Training cynology units of the Rescue Service”.
6 cynology units of the "Center for conducting special-purpose rescue operations" of the Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA participate in the training.
The purpose of the event is to prepare the dogs for searching and detecting the victims in natural and man-made environments. It will mainly focus on honing the search skills of dogs in rubble.
Sergey Pivovarov, an international rescuer of the Stavropol branch of the Russian Union of Rescuers, and Konstantin Boltunsky, a referee in charge of the search and rescue service of the EMERCOM of the Russian Federation, a canine sports coach conduct the training course. Russian specialists will carry out theoretical and practical trainings for search and rescue dogs.
