Resolution on Providing Military Assistance to Kiev
A representative of the US Congress has presented a resolution for providing $1 trillion military assistance to Kiev. The authors of the document are the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee Mac Thornberry and congressman Adam Smith.
According to the resolution, till 2017 the US should provide military assistance to Kiev, including armaments.
"The US Defense Minister is authorized with consultations with the Secretary of State to provide assistance which includes training equipment, defensive weapons, logistical support and different equipment to the Ukrainian armed forces and national security forces until September 30, 2017. $1 trillion will be given for the implementation of the above mentioned,"– is mentioned in the document.
