Obama Urges Putin to Act in a Rational Way
On February 10, US president Barack Obama called the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, to once more restate that the United Stated support sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, "Voice of America" reports.
Barack Obama told Vladimir Putin to pay attention to the increasing number of causalities as a result of continuing military operations. The US president urged Russia to use the opportunity it was presented in the ongoing negotiations to have its contribution in peaceful resolution of Ukrainian conflict.
Barack Obama also warned that by continuing to be loyal to his aggressive strategy in Ukraine (sending armed personnel and financial assistance to separatist forces); Putin will raise the price Russia is going to pay for its actions in Ukraine.
