Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Foundation Branch Office Closed in Baku
The German Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Foundation stopped its work in Baku, wrote the head of the Baku office of the foundation Arastun Orujlu on his facebook, haqqin.az reports. He informed about closing the office, but no reason for doing so was mentioned.
The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Foundation was founded in 1925 and is named after Friedrich Ebert, Germany's first democratically elected president. As it is written in the official website of the foundation, it maintains branch offices in over 90 countries and carries out activities in more than 100 countries. The branch office in Baku started its work in 1999.
