iPhone Hits the Record
In 2014, there were 1.2 billion smart phones sold worldwide, 28% more than in 2013, CNN reports. Overall, two third of all mobile phone sale lied on iPhone. The iPhone is the world’s top selling smart phone. Apple sold a record 74.8 million iPones in the forth quarter of 2014.
Apple also rolled out the new iPhone 6 to other countries faster than in previous years. Right now the iPhone 6 is available in 130 countries. The suppliers helped the company manufacture 7 million more iPhones than it had expected for the last year.
