Gagik Tsarukyan Withdrew From Active Politics
Today, on March 5, at an emergency convention of "Prosperous Armenia" party its leader Gagik Tsarukyan declared that he is withdrawing from active politics. "This was not an easy decision, but this is my personal decision and I hope you will understand," – Tsarukyan said. He said that has never pursued a personal interest and has always tried to support people adding that he will do the same even not being in politics.
Tsarukyan nominated secretary of the party's parliamentary faction Naira Zohrabyan as a candidate for the post of party chairman.
