Obama: Two-State Solution is the Only Way For the Long-Term Security of Israel
The US President Barack Obama, in an interview with the Huffington Post, declared that Netanyahu’s pre-election declaration about the impossibility of creating a Palestinian State during his prime ministership, makes it hard to find a way towards serious negotiations for solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Jerusalem Post reports.
Referring to the telephone conversation with Netanyahu, Obama said that he told the Israeli Prime Minister that "a two-state solution is the only way for the long-term security of Israel, if it wants to stay both a Jewish state and democratic."
