Brazilian City Osasco to Officially Commemorate April 24
The Brazilian city of Osasco, according to Law N 4567/13, will officially commemorate April 24 as the Day of Remembrance of the Armenian Genocide of 1915, Hayern Aysor reports.
Since 2006, Osasco and the second largest city of Armenia, Gyumri have been sister cities and the Mayor of Osasco, Georgi Lapas is invited to take part in the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Armenia on April 24.
