Iran Promises to Influence on the Sides of the Conflict in Yemen
Iran intends to use its all influence on the groups in Yemen and in the whole region for peaceful settlement of the conflict. This was declared by the Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammed Javad Zarif in Lisbon, TASS reports.
According to Zarif, the settlement of the conflict should start with stopping the airstrikes and bloodshed. The Minister also mentioned, that it is necessary to prevent al Qaeda from "taking advantage of this nasty situation."
On Tuesday, the Minister outlined a four-point peace plan comprising a ceasefire, humanitarian assistance, an intra-Yemeni dialogue and the establishment of a broad-based government, yahoo.com reports.
