Edward Nalbandian Welcomed the Step Taken by the Austrian Parliament

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian welcomed the statement of the Parliament of Austria on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. As the Press Service of the MFA informs, Edward Nalbandian particularly said:

"Armenia welcomes the adoption of the statement by the Austrian Parliament on 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Austrian Parliament stressed that it considers it its duty, as in those years Austria-Hungary historically has been an ally of the Ottoman Empire. In a statement, the Parliament stresses that it considers it also the responsibility of Turkey. Austria has taken an important step in the work for prevention of genocides."
