Lower House of Belgium Parliament to Recognize the Armenian Genocide
Denis Ducarme, the leader of the Reformist Movement (MR) faction of the House of Representatives of the Belgian parliament, in an interview with RTBF and RT TV channels, announced that the majority of the Lower House of Belgium intends to recognize the Armenian Genocide, Hayern Aysor reports referring to Armenpress.
According to the source, Denis Ducarme will soon introduce the corresponding resolution bill to the Lower House.
The Belgian parliament adopted a resolution on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide back in 1998, at the level of the Upper Chamber.
