Seyran Ohanyan: Every Armenian Soldier is a Warrior of Peace
The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and in the line of contact is calm and is being controlled. This was declared by the Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan in the RA National Assembly during the talk with journalists. "Armenian Armed Forces and the NKR Defense Forces control the situation on the border, you can be assured," Ohanyan said.
As for the shooting by the opponent in the village Baghanis of Tavush region, RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said that such incidents call to be more attentive, to take cold-blooded decisions and be prepared for any development of the situation, Armenpress reports.
Armenian Defense Minister stressed that Armenian armed forces are doing everything to maintain the ceasefire. "We have done everything to bring peace, so as the conflict is resolved peacefully. Every Armenian soldier is a warrior of peace and will do everything to create mechanisms of deterrence and peace on the borders, and most importantly, to create an atmosphere of trust that will help in the negotiation process" Ohanyan said.
