Russia to Support Syria's Government
Syria’s Foreign Minister Walid Muallem declared that Russian President Vladimir Putin has promised to "politically, economically and militarily" support Syria’s government, yahoo.com reports.
"I received a promise from President Putin to support Syria politically, economically and militarily," Muallem said after his meeting with Putin.
In his turn Putin declared that if the Syrian government considers it possible, then Russia will do its best to support it.
