Eurozone Calls on Greece to Come Up with Serious Proposals
Eurozone leaders have called on Greece to come up with "serious" proposals, if it wants to stay in the currency union, The Guardian reports.
An emergency summit, which was decided to hold after Greek people rejected the eurozone-drafted plan, is considered to be the last chance for Greece.
"We are now waiting for precise proposals from the Greek prime minister, for a program that will allow Greece to return to prosperity. It is urgent to have these proposals so we can find a way out of this situation," the German chancellor, Angela Merkel said.
