Israel and Saudi Arabia on the Same Line?
King Salman of Saudi Arabi expressed his concerns about the Iran nuclear deal to Ashton Carter, US Defence Secretary, during the latter’s visit to Saudi Arabia, Telegraph informs.
US Defence Secretary noted King Salman expressed doubt about the nuclear deal's verification process, as well as questioning the "snap-back" mechanism for re-imposing sanctions if Iran violated its terms.
On the occassion Carter noted to reporters.
"Those are the same issues that we know will arise during the agreement's implementation.”
In addition the US official noted that the king had been invited to Washington to meet Mr Obama.
