Egypt and Saudi Arabia Signed "Cairo Declaration"

Egypt and Saudi Arabia have signed a pact in Cairo which aims at boosting military and economic ties between the two states, Al Jazeera reports.

"Cairo Declaration," the document the two sides signed, will also contribute to the increase of investments in the energy and transport sectors.

"The two sides stressed the need to exert all efforts to boost security and stability in the region, and to work together to protect Arab national security," Egypt's presidential office said.

The sides have also expressed willingness to create joint Arab military force.
