A Documentary Dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide is being Shot in Argentine

On the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide a documentary film is being shot in Buenos Aires. "The Dreams of Armenia" is an Argentine film, which is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, a wound that has not been healed yet  and needs to be recognized, Mexican idea.me writes.

The project tells the story of a sustainable community that preserves its culture and identity as a country.

"Our working group has been creating documentary films for 20 years, most of which has become a reality thanks to the participants and supporters. We believe that "The Dreams of Armenia" will also become a reality," the co-directors of the film Claudio Remedy and Teresa Saporiti say.

"We have already documented the events Buenos Aires commemorating the memory of the victims, in which Armenian community actively participated – such events as the Buenos Aires Book Fair, the rally held on April 28. At the same time, our partner in Armenia Armen Gasparyan has also shot the street marches and the events at the Memorial Complex dedicated to the victims there.

The film is about a family and the facts, the Argentine-Armenians have told. Anya is a part of the family. She is a writer, and organizes a trip to Yerevan to write her story. Her trip gives an opportunity to visit, see and to remember Armenia," the film producers say.
