Elizabeth II: Longest Reigning Monarch
On September 9, 2015 in the evening the Queen of Britain Elizabeth II will be the longest reigning monarch in the history of the country. The Monarch passes the record of her great-grandmother Queen Victoria, who held the throne for 63 years, seven months and two days, The Telegraph reports.
On this day the Queen accompanied by the wife of the Duke of Edinburgh will take a two-hour train journey from Edinburgh to Tvidbenka. At the end of the celebrations the Queen will deliver a speech and thank his subjects for the trust rendered to her throughout the record date. Queen will commemorate the memory of her great-grandmother Victoria.
