Charles Aznavour Expressed Support to Migrants
Charles Aznavour once again expressed support to migrants, opening his last concert in Paris with the song "Migrants".
According to him, the song was written 30 years ago, but it is still relevant, news.am reports citing Telesurtv.net.
"What is happening today with the refugees really affected me. I imagine my parents in the same situation when they left the country and moved to France. So I'm always on the side of those who are knocking at the door, and not those who close them," the singer said during his concert.
Aznavour is ready to receive refugees in his second homeland, where he could easily organize a mobile home, he said in an interview with "Le Parisien". He recalled how many emigrants have France given and called such names as Pablo Picasso and Guy Béart.
"This is an amazing opportunity for France. Who knows, maybe among them will be the next Charles Aznavour?" he said.
