Gazprom Stops Gas Supplies to Ukraine

"Gazprom" stops gas supplies to Ukraine until new payment of "Naftogaz", the Chairman of the Board of "Gazprom" Alexey Miller declared, BBC reports.

"New pre-payment has not been received. There is no application for the supply of gas from 'Naftogaz of Ukraine', " Miller said.

According to the head of the holding, the rejection of purchasing Russian gas poses serious risks to the transit of gas to Europe through Ukraine and gas supplies to Ukrainian consumers this winter.
