NKR Minister of Defense: the Death of Each Soldier is a Great Loss for Us
"The death of each soldier is a great loss for us, no matter whether it happens in the time of peace or war. Believe me, the death of even one soldier for our army is a huge loss, and therefore we have to do everything possible to avoid such cases," NKR Defense Minister, General of the Army of Defense Levon Mnatsakanyan said in an interview with "Armenpress".
According to him, the outgoing year was fruitful for Artsakh's Armed Forces, as all plans aimed at improving combat readiness of the army have been implemented.
He also added that, "if on the frontline ceasefire regime is regularly being violated from weapons of different calibers, and the war between the snipers had already become apparent, it is clear that we can not do without losses. However, this does not mean that we have to accept this situation and look for excuses.” Mnatsakanyan expressed confidence that "the army and the people of Artsakh will do their best to ensure peace in the country."
