UN Secretary General Said About His Objectives of 2016

In 2016 it is necessary to put an end to the prolonged conflicts fueled by international disagreements, to win the "Islamic State" and other terrorist groups, as well as return to the path of nuclear disarmament. These are the objectives that the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has put on his 2016 agenda, TASS reports.

"In 2016, we must put an end to the conflicts, which continue because of global disagreements, do much more to protect vulnerable groups, and to demonstrate that we are serious about preventing shocks that will come tomorrow," the Secretary General said, speaking before the UN General Assembly. He elaborated on the war in Syria, accusing the warring parties in violation of human rights, and called the blockades of the cities as a war crime.
