Armenian Defense Ministry Made a Statement on the Death of Azerbaijani Soldier
The Armenian Ministry of Defense refuted the disinformation spread by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry about the alleged incident, during which "the Armenian side attempted to sabotage and killed an Azerbaijani soldier", news.am reports.
"The Armenian Defense Ministry states that the information of the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan does not correspond to reality.
According to information received, the deceased soldier was the victim of bullying in the Azerbaijani army.
The Azerbaijani side once again tries to use disinformation to distort reality and present the Armenian side accusations without any ground.
We are again reiterating the need for the introduction of mechanisms to promote the reduction and prevention of possible incidents on the line of contact of NKR and Azerbaijan and on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border," the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia said.
Earlier the Azerbaijani media, citing the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan, reported about the alleged incident and the death of a soldier Imran Mirzayev.
