Regular Meeting of the Friendship Circle "Karabakh-France"

Regular meeting of the Friendship Circle "Karabakh-France", which was attended by the NKR Permanent Representative to France Hovhannes Gevorgyan, was held at the National Assembly of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.

Welcoming the idea of holding the meetings in such format, Chairman of the NKR National Assembly, head of the Circle of Friendship "Karabakh-France", Ashot Ghoulyan noted that last year there was a clear increase in activity in the contacts between Karabakh and France: а Circle of Friendship was created and a festival "Days of France in Artsakh" was held.  In the issue of preservation and development of bilateral relations, Ashot Ghoulyan particularly emphasized the role of the NKR representation in France.

Summing up the results of recent years’ cooperation, Hovhannes Gevorgyan, in his turn, noted that one of the main achievements in this direction was establishment of direct ties and multilateral cooperation between the two republics, which aims at showing the role of Artsakh in international relations.

Answering the questions of the members of the Friendship Circle, the Permanent Representative of the NKR in France, pointed out the importance of the prospective development of programs aimed at training specialists, as well as solving a number of economic issues.

An action plan of the Friendship Circle "Karabakh-France" in the current year was designated as a result of exchange of views.
