Armenian Foreign Ministry confirmed the information that, according to preliminary data, there are RA citizens among the detainees accused in the attack on an Armenian couple in Istanbul, Turkey. This was announced by Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan in a talk with "Armenpress".
"According to preliminary data, there are Armenians among the arrested persons. Ability to provide consular assistance is limited by the absence of diplomatic relations," Balayan said.
It should be reminded that on February 6, unidentified persons broke into the house of an elderly Armenian couple in Istanbul, and stole expensive jewelry and large amount of money.
