''I Urge You to Voice the Violations that Currently is Taking Place in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic'': A Message to Clinton from NKR

"People are sad here, but very quiet," says the coordinator of Nagorno-Karabakh Committee of ''Helsinki Initiative-92'',  activist Karen Ohandjanyan from  Stepanakert, who believes that the situation in the city is normal, and everything is well organized on the border.

Karen Ohandjanyan, who expects any serious response from the international community, personally wrote a letter to the former US Secretary of State, the current US presidential candidate, Democrat Hillary Clinton, urging her to voice the violence that takes place in Karabakh.

''First of all I would like to express you my great sympathy for your presidential campaign and wish you to become the first woman president of the USA,'' Ohandjanyan begins his letter: ''Azerbaijani military forces started large scale military operation against Nagorno-Karabkh Republic and we have a big number of casualties from both sides. I remember, when still the Secretary of State, in Astana during a ministerial summit you made a powerful speech about Karabakh conflict resolution. Today early in the morning cease fire agreement was roughly violated by Azerbaijani authorities. I know that you passionately defend peace and justice and your voice in this regard will be a great support to the peaceful people of Karabakh,'' the activist concludes .

According to Ohandjanian,he and his colleagues have disseminated this letter in all the social networks and different media sources. While waiting for assistance from the international community and for the support from such prominent figures as Clinton, Karabakh activists however count first of all on their own soldiers, their strength and courage ...
