This Week in Europe
Below we would like to draw your attention to the upcoming events in Europe that directly concern or present a particular interest for Armenia. Special attention is paid to international organizations and the scheduled meetings and events in the framework of their activities.
The EU Foreign Affairs Council takes place in Brussels on May 23. The Council will discuss the EU regional strategy for Syria and Iraq as well as the ISIL/Da'esh threat and is expected to adopt conclusions. э
The World Humanitarian Summit is being hold in Istanbul, Turkey on May 23-24. The Foreign Ministers of the Eastern Partnership countries meet today, on May 23 in Brussels. The EU High Representative Federica Mogherini and EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn will also join the meeting.
On May 25-26 the Plenary Session of the European Parliament is planned. G7 summit will be held in Ise-Shima, Japan, on 26-27 May
