Russia and Japan to Hold Peace Talks in Tokyo

Japanese and Russian officials on June 22 will hold talks in Tokyo about the long-term territorial dispute between the two countries, Kodo Agency quotes the Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida.
The meeting was planned after Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed in May to adopt a "new approach" in solving the territorial dispute that has prevented countries from signing a peace treaty after World War II, Interfax reports.
