Pope Francis and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II Will Sign a Joint Declaration

According to News, Director of the Holy See Press Office told reporters in Yerevan, that during the pontiff’s last day in Armenia, Pope Francis and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II will sign a joint declaration.
Fr. Federico Lombardi informed that the declaration that was agreed by the Catholic and Armenian Apostolic churches on Saturday evening will be signed at 4p.m.
He also added that “it is an important document that will sum up our ecumenical wordings, which is going to be a comprehensive synthesis of ecumenical positions of the Armenian Apostolic and Catholic churches.”
