Is Shakespeare's Real Name Sheikh Pir? Turkish "Discovery"
During a TV program on Beyaz TV in Turkey, historian Kadir Misiroglu made a ridiculous statement, Yerkir.am reports citing Siyasihaber3.
Misiroglu insisted that the English writer William Shakespeare's real name was "Sheikh Pir," and he was not an Englishman, but a secret Muslim.
The website, mocking the Turkish historian, wrote: "In this case we did not understand to what race Shakespeare belonged."
