Wrestler Shant Khachatryan Becomes European Cadet Championship Winner
The European Cadet Championship came to an end at the Swedish capital Stockholm.
On the last competition day wrestlers of 46kg, 54kg, 63kg, 76kg and 100kg weight class competed.
Armeniaʼs team member Shant Khachatryan at 54kg became a European champion. The Armenian wrestler won Georgian wrestler Irakli Dzmistarishvili by fall in the final bout. Before reaching the final Khachatryan had defeated Russian, Moldavian, Polish and Turk wrestlers, the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia informs.
The Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling junior team conquered 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals.
