Spanish Town of Alicante Recognized Armenian Genocide

The Spanish town of Alicante on Thursday, July 28 recognized and condemned the Armenian Genocide, the PanArmenian reports.
During discussions at the city council, representatives of all the parties delivered speeches, stressing the importance of the international recognition of the Genocide and the preventive significance of its condemnation.
The institutional declaration was adopted with a near-unanimous vote.
