London's Tower Bridge is Closed for Repairs
The authorities of London closed the Tower bridge for construction works, reports the Guardian. The bridge will remain closed for vehicular traffic till December 30.
According to the press release of London municipal administration, the load of the bridge makes 21 thousand cars a day.
40 thousand people pass along the bridge per day. The bridge, which is 122 years old, was last renovated about 50 years ago.
