The Nobel Prize for Literature Awarded to the American Singer

The Nobel Prize in Literature for 2016 is awarded to the US singer Bob Dylan "for the creation of new poetic expression in the great American song traditions", RIA Novosti reported.
It was announced on Thursday in Stockholm, by the Swedish Academy which is responsible for the awarding of prizes.
Prize for Literature is one of the five Nobel prizes. The amount of each of them in the 2016 is 8 million Swedish krons (932,000 dollars).
