First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia, Chairman of EU Military Committee Discuss Cooperation Prospects
First deputy minister of defense of Armenia David Tonoyan had a meeting in Brussels with General Michail Kostarakos - Chairman of the European Union Military Committee. The ministry told ARMENPRESS prospects of Armenia-EU military cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
General Kostarakos informed about the opportunities and formats of partners’ participation in international peacekeeping and establishing stability missions. During the meeting Tonoyan briefed the Chairman on the situation in the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the Nagorno-Karabakh-Azerbaijan border. The sides also discussed issues relating to regional security.
