Kyiv Ready to Host the Eurovision Song Contest

The city of Kyiv is ready to host the Eurovision song contest, Deputy Chairman of the KCSA Oleksiy Reznikov wrote on his page in Facebook, Gazeta.ru reports. 

''Moreover, the budget has provided a subsidy from the city to the state budget of 200 million hryvnias for the preparation and holding of Eurovision-2017: 50 million this year, another 150 million in the following year," recalled Reznikov.

In addition, he noted that the city already gave a guarantee of 200 million in support of the Eurovision song contest and talked about the development of another 1 billion hryvnia ($ 39 million) on preparation of infrastructure of the city.
