NKR Defense Army: Azerbaijani Armed Forces Used Sniper Rifle "Istiqlal"
According to operative data, on the night of December 13 on NKR-Azerbaijan border Azerbaijani Armed Forces with small arms of various calibres violated ceasefire over 60 times, the press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense informs.
During this period, the opponent has fired about 900 shots in the direction of Armenian positions.
The most intensive ceasefire violations were registered in the southern (Hadrut) and eastern (Martuni) directions of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani border, where the Azerbaijani Armed Forces also used sniper rifle "Istiqlal" and SVD (93 shots).
Advanced subdivisions of the Defense Army mainly refrained from responsive actions and continued to confidently implement their combat task.
As for the disseminated information by the Azerbaijani side that they have shot an Armenian UAV, it is nothing more that a regular propaganda trick and does not correspond to the reality.
