Duties of CSTO Secretary General Are Given to Valery Anatolyevich Semerikov

On January 1, 2017 Valery Semerikov has assumed the duties of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Secretary General, RIA Novosti reports.
''In connection with the completion of CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Nikolayevich Bordyuzha’s duties on December 31, 2016, the duties of CSTO Secretary General are given to CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Anatolyevich Semerikov,'' reads the CSTO statement.
Bordyuzha had held this office since 2003.
