Demonstration Against Extradition of Alexander Lapshin to Azerbaijan Was Held in Armenia

A demonstration against Belarus’s intention to extradite Israeli citizen, well-known blogger, Alexander Lapshin to Azerbaijan was held on Monday outside the Embassy of Belarus in Yerevan.
The young protesters were chanting, "Karabakh is not Azerbaijan" and "Don’t support the [President] Aliyev authorities [of Azerbaijan]," the Armenian NEWS.am reporter informed. Besides, they wished to meet with the Belarus ambassador and hand him a letter of protest.
The ambassador, however, did not come down. As a result, the picketers left their letter of protest and signs in front of the embassy door, and left chanting, "Shame, shame [on you]!"
