''We Are with You Garo'': Serj Tankian Called Garo Paylan ''a True Hero''
Serj Tankian called HDP MP Garo Paylan ''a true hero'' for his speech during the Turkish parliament session when he mentioned the Armenian Genocide.
In a message posted on Facebook, Tankian wrote;
''On a special day like today celebrating MLK and everything he stood for, Erdogan's gov't kicks out an MP in Turkey for mentioning the genocide. Garo Paylan is a true hero because it's quite easy to speak the truth in a society with no repercussions but very dangerous in one that has many repercussions. I had the unique honor of meeting him last year. We are with you Garo.''
