The Project "Soviet Genocide" Was Presented to the Youth
On February 3, in the framework of "Youth Voice" project the meetings restarted. The speaker of the first meeting was deputy editor of "Voice of America" newspaper Marina Grigoryan, who presented the project "Soviet Genocide" to the meeting participants.
During the meeting the Azerbaijani propaganda on Khojalu, Baku, Sumgait events and the struggle against it were discussed. More detailed reference was made to the project "Soviet Genocide" implemented with the assistance of Information and Public Relations Center by the administration of the President of the Republic of Armenia. In the framework of this project the books in several languages; movies were shot about Sumgait, Baku, Maragha massacres. To note, the project is implemented by the resources of NGO "European Integration."
Project "Youth platform" is a series of training-discussions for the young professionals (political scientists, international scientists, economists, journalists). This is a specific platform, where young people discuss with experts current and important issues related to Armenia’s foreign policy, gain knowledge about neighboring countries, priority issues of the RA’s foreign policy, international processes, as well as the development of civil society and related topics. In addition group works are being carried out, personal views are being expressed as well as new solutions to old questions are being proposed.
