NKR Defense Army: Azerbaijani Armed Forces Used D-44 Gun and 82 mm Mortar
According to operative data, on the night of May 22-23, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan from the small arms of different calibers violated the ceasefire regime on NKR-Azerbaijan border about 100 times, the press service of the Artsakh Republic Defense Ministry reports.
The Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired more than 1600 shots in the direction of the Armenian positions.
In the eastern direction of the border, in addition to small arms, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces also used the D-44 gun (9 rounds), and in the northeastern direction - 82 mm mortar (9 rounds).
As a result of violation of the ceasefire by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the Armenian side did not suffer any losses.
The advanced units of the Defense Army to suppress the offensive activity of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces resorted to retaliatory actions, continuing to exercise reliable defense of the combat positions.
