Kardashian Bought Jackie Kennedy’s Cartier Watch

Kim Kardashian West has evidently acquired a piece of Jackie Kennedy memorabilia for quite the price. At a recent Christie’s auction in New York City, the First Lady’s vintage Cartier watch was sold for $379,500—some $200,000 more than the house’s initial projection—to an anonymous bidder, who was later reported to be Kardashian West, reports Vogue.com.
The small gold-faced, black leather timepiece was a gift from Kennedy’s brother-in-law Prince Stanislaw Albrecht Radziwill and is engraved with the date she received it: February 23, 1963, just a few months before her husband, President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated in Dallas.
