Russian-Israeli Journalist Calls on His Friends in Moscow, Israel and Elsewhere to Visit Artsakh

Alchetron

Russian-Israeli journalist, political scientist Avigdor Eskin considers Azerbaijani decision to blacklist him for his visit to Nagorno Karabakh Republic as horrendous.  "Why does Azerbaijan declares a persona non-grata to somebody who decides on his own to visit Artsakh, speak of the level of education and culture, the great reception there," wondered Eskin at a press conference in Yerevan, summing up his visit to Artsakh and Armenia, Panorama.am reports.

Avigdor Eskin stressed he was visiting Armenia for the second time, expressing hope new visits would follow. As to his trip to Artsakh, the Israeli political scientist said: "I got a great reception in Artsakh, as if old friends got reunited. I talked to people in the streets, cafes. People in Artsakh are quite calm with smiling faces, deep belief in tomorrow, helpful and kind. I am going to tell what t I saw regardless of the consequences. I am grateful for that reception," Eskin said, adding it was first of all a get-to-know trip.

At the end of his press conference, the political scientist called on his friends in Moscow, Israel and elsewhere to visit Artsakh as tourists and guests, adding he conveyed this message through his Facebook page.
