Russian MFA Calls for Stabalization of the Situation on NKR-Azerbaijan Border

“Moscow calls on the parties to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to take all the necessary measures aimed at stabilizing the situation [on NKR-Azerbaijan border],” Maria Zakharova, Spokeswoman of Russia’s Foreign Ministry, announced at a weekly briefing on Thursday, livestreamed by RT news agency, Panorama.am reports.
Zakharova called unacceptable the further bloodshed. “We call on the sides to take necessary measures to stabilize the situation. We support the statement of the OSCE Minsk Group which underscores the need to stop the violence and return to the negotiation table,” the spokeswoman concluded.
