PYD Militants in Syria
Turkish artillery retaliated against a harassment fire by the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) opened from northern Syria on July 14, shelling its positions in the region near the border, Hurriyet reports referring to Doğan News Agency.
A harassment fire was opened from the PYD-controlled Parsa Mount region in northern Syria to the Turkish side of the border province of Kilis in the morning hours. The artillery units stationed in Kilis immediately shelled PYD positions in the region within the rules of engagement.
