Czech Parliamentarians Visit Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex
On October 4, the Delegation headed by the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Milan Štěch accompanied with the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Vardan Bostanjyan visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, official page of RA Parliament reports.
The guests laid flowers at the eternal fire and in silence honoured the memory of the Holy Martyrs. They had also been in the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the documents proving the Armenian Genocide.
The President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Milan Štěch left a note in the Memory Book.
Milan Štěch noted that in the past the Armenian nation had numerous losses and added that here, in Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, is the history of many Armenians’ souls.
"I would like Armenia never see such crime, genocide, never be suppressed. Armenians are considered to be a friendly nation, and they deserve to be independent and live in peace." the President of the Senate of the Czech Parliament said.
