Defense Minister of Artsakh Republic: If Azerbaijan Continues the Violations, the Response Will Be More Painful

Aysor.am

Now, there is some tension on the frontline, the Defense Minister and Defense Army Commander of the Republic of Artsakh, Levon Mnatsakanyan, said  at a press conference on Tuesday, Artsakhpress reports.

He noted that this tension is due to snipers’ presence in the conflict zone and the Azerbaijani military’s tactics of provoking violence from time to time. He recalled that a serviceman was killed by an Azerbaijani sniper on October 19.

He also noted the Azerbaijani armed forces’ firing of Spike anti-tank guided missiles twice.

"We have already informed that if such strikes occur later on, the response will follow," the NKR Defense Minister said and added: "We will meet with representatives of the OSCE Minsk Group in the coming days, and we will discuss the created situation."
